Default Factions Official Game Guide book ?

When the Prophercies game guide book became available, I found it very helpfull for maps etc., but more so for the Bonus mission guide and hints. Is there a similar book (hard copy) available for factions, as I don't recall seeing one ?

Yes, there is a Factions guide book. It's not nearly as good as the Prophecies one. It does have decent guides for the missions, but the maps are small and it doesn't have maps for many (if not most) of the explorable areas.

I believe they are reffering to the strategy guides...... not the game manuals

There is a Prima guide for factions. But it is by far the worst guide book prima has ever put out. As Kook said the maps are small and most areas are not even in it. You will get a complete list of skillls and missions with weak walkthru info.

I would recommend saving your money and just using the web to find the info you need.

Chances are somebody in here will be able to answer any question you have.

.
YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THE MAPS DO NOT EVEN LABLE THE WARPS AND WHERE THEY GO.

ALSO NO NPCS LISTED.

AND THEY ARE 10 PER CENT THE SIZE OF THE FIRST CHAPTER GUIDE MAPS.

TOTAL CRAP.

WILL I GET THE NIGHTFALL GUIDE IF THE DEVS EVEN GO NEAR IT TO MAKE IT BETTER?

NO WAY.

Yeah man, do not buy the Prima Factions guide as it is a worthless piece of crap and I feel like such a tool for spending $30 on it. Maps are barely readable, skills are missing and yeah, you can get better and more accurate info on this site and save yourself some jack to boot.

Sad, though, when you consider that the Factions guide was put together by the ANET dev. team.

$30?! I got mine like two weeks after Factions went live for only $10. Personally the rip-out map was all I really needed anyway.
